In a recent Facebook status, MK Ayoob Kara proclaimed, “I congratulate my good friend Mohammed Mahmoud Al Khaja on being sworn in by Dubai’s leader Sheikh Muhammed bin Rashad Al Maktoum as the first United Arab Emirate Ambassador to Israel.”

“The development of economic peace between Israel and the Persian Gulf and the sons of Abraham Alliance is progressing day by day,” he added. “Nothing can stop the progression of this pivotal alliance.”

Last month, the United Arab Emirates cabinet approved the establishment of an embassy in Tel Aviv. Israel’s Embassy in Dubai has already opened its doors. Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, hundreds of Israelis have already visited the United Arab Emirates following the signing of the historic Abraham Accords, which established peace between Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, Sudan, etc.

The Association of Gulf Jewish Communities recently announced: “Jews from across the Gulf countries are forming the Association of Gulf Jewish Communities. The new organization, the first of its kind, will include Jews from the UAE, Bahrain, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.”
