In a recent interview, Israeli Druze leader Ayoob Kara, who served as Israel’s Communication, Cyber and Satellite Minister, proclaimed: “The close friendship between Israel and India and in particular Netanyahu’s close friendship with Modi obliges us and especially the Prime Minister, who saved Israel from corona, to help him save India.”

Shipan Kumer Basu, who heads the World Hindu Struggle Committee, said that the corona has risen sharply in India: “Every day, thousands of people are dying of corona. Volunteers are struggling to bury the bodies. On the other hand, there has been a shortage of life-saving oxygen. In this situation, I am requesting all the friendly countries to stand by India. I also urge Israel, one of the world’s leading states in medical technology, to stand by India as soon as possible and help.”

“I urge the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, to help India in the same way that you have liberated Israel,” he added. “The people of India today are helpless to the Corona pandemic. We know that you are the first country in the world to be declared more or less as a Corona free country. No one in your country has to wear a mask on the streets anymore. Meanwhile, I seek your sincere cooperation not only as a friendly state but also in maintaining the dignity of brotherhood.”

Prasanna Kumar Roy, a prominent industrialist in West Bengal, India and Chief Economic Advisor to the World Hindu Struggle Committee, has appealed to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to extend a helping hand to India in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic: “The people of India will forever remember Israel’s contribution and Israeli-Indian relations will reach new heights.”
