In December 2019, at the Inbal Hotel in Jerusalem, Mr. Ayoob met with Kurdish leader Saud Barzani’s poet Said Jabari to promote The Ayoob Kara Center Economic Peace, in order to advance Israel’s economic ties with the region’s countries.
Jabari preferred to go under Saddam Hussein’s rule over the cleft of his throat because of his support as a Kurdish security force in the Bashmarga.
He is considered one of the greatest poets and patriots in Kurdistan, and a friend of the Kurdish leadership.
