The Times of Israel recently reported that US President Joe Biden met with his French counterpart and promised to coordinate with him on the Iran nuclear deal.  “I will offer Tehran a credible path back to diplomacy,” promised Biden as a candidate back in September. “If Iran returns to strict compliance with the nuclear deal, the United States would rejoin the agreement as a starting point for follow-on negotiations.”

In an exclusive interview, MK Ayoob Kara proclaimed that the mullahs in Iran are hopeful regarding the new US administration due to the belief that perhaps they will change Trump’s Iran policy, which caused them to lose all over the place: “There are options on the table to change the Iranian nuclear agreement.”

According to MK Kara, the oxygen that was keeping the mullah’s regime alive was slowly running out under the Trump administration due to the crippling sanctions and maximum pressure campaign that was in place: “Yet now, suddenly, they got hope that they got a future.  Of course, this gives them more influence in Iran, the Arab areas and the entire world.”

Meanwhile, Al Jazeera reported that US President Joe Biden’s National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan has promised his Israeli counterpart that the United States “will closely consult with Israel on all matters of regional security.”  He also reaffirmed Biden’s “unwavering commitment to Israel’s security.”
