“Many senior level officials in the Arab world and particularly the Persian Gulf countries have approached me last week and conveyed a clear message to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu,” MK Ayoob Kara recently proclaimed. “The message is that it is important to them that he continue onwards as Prime Minister.”

According to him, “They see it as crucial for promoting economic peace in our region and a key deterrent in the face of Iranian aggression. For the first time, elements of the political establishment in Libya and other places are speaking clearly and freely in favor of economic ties with Israel.”

“My assessment is that at least eight more countries are on the way to making peace with Israel,” he added. MK Kara made these remarks during the opening of a recycling plant for people with special needs in the Druze village of Julis in the presence of Minister Gila Gamliel.
