“Hasan Alshalgumi, one of the most well-known clerics in Bahrain who resides in Abu Dhabi that was appointed to be the head of Muslim Imams in Western Europe, is calling upon Muslims to vote for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in Arabic,” MK Ayoob Kara stated in a recent Facebook post.

In an interview with Arutz Sheva, MK Kara noted: “They don’t want to get involved in the elections in Israel, but they turned to every Arab and said that it is impossible without Netanyahu to remove all of the barriers between Israel and the Arab World.” MK Kara proclaimed, “Today, every Arab and Jew can visit various countries in the region thanks to Netanyahu.”

On the Iranian front, MK Kara claimed that Alshalgumi recognizes that “Netanyahu is the one who deters the mullah’s from launching more wars in the Middle East.” In Bahrain and other Persian Gulf states, this is critical: “The Sunni states in the Gulf and others are afraid that Iran seeks to occupy them.”

MK Kara noted that the only way to stop the Iranian threat is to continue Trump’s policy of “applying maximum pressure.” He claimed that if the world does that, then the mullah’s regime will collapse. But if not, he noted that the regime will be put on life support.
